The city of Faro is about a 20min. drive and has a large shopping mall and free outside and underground parking. The old part of the city is surrounded by Roman walls which date back to the 9th century and there are plenty of old museums and churches to visit as well as long sandy beaches where you can soak up the sun.

The large town of Loule is a 10min. drive away and has an indoor market where you can buy fresh produce every morning. A gypsy market held every Saturday is very popular with the bargain hunters and the shops are full of brightly painted souvenirs.
